When used in a brake line application, a plug and socket pair inline can be disconnected and re-connected without the need to bleed the system. The threaded portion is 3/8-24 with a 37-degree JIC taper for sealing. We can build brake lines with the required fitting.

This is NOT a knock-off copy made in China. We have tested nearly every knock-off brand made, and although much cheaper we found a 20% failure rate from the non-genuine parts in the short-term cycle tests we performed.
